Here’s the brand-new trailer for Franco-German romantic drama GOODBYE FIRST LOVE.
Revolving around fifteen-year-old Camille (Lola Créton) and her new boyfriend Sullivan (Sebastian Urzendowsky), we follow them in the early stages of their relationship. However, things break down when Sullivan decides to go travelling, leaving Camille behind, all alone. As she grows older, she develops a new relationship – until Sullivan returns, potentially ruining everything.
Directed by Mia Hansen-Løve, this is her fifth endeavour into directing. The film was picked for the main competition at Swiss film festival Locarno International and was the official selection at the Telluride, Toronto and New York film festivals.
The trailer shows how beautifully the film’s shot and gives us a little insight into how Hansen-Løve has depicted young love. With so many film festival nominations, this may be quite popular with critics.
GOODBYE FIRST LOVE, directed by Mia Hansen-Løve and starring Lola Créton and Sebastian Urzendowsky, is due for a limited US release from 20th April, 2012.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
