Adam Sandler has been a huge box-office draw for the best part of two decades almost. Unfortunately his output of late, have never hit the comic heights of loveable classics like HAPPY GILMORE or THE WEDDING SINGER, despite having his biggest hit in the (terrible) form of GROWN UPS. That being said, he is an actor that most people, including myself, can’t help but like.
So here we have have both the red and green band trailers for his latest comedy, co-starring fellow SNL star Andy Samberg. Sandler’s usual man-child persona is this time aimed at adults, given this will be his first R-rated comedy in over 15 years! We also have the film’s poster and official synopsis below. THAT’S MY BOY hits cinemas here in the UK, 7th September and co-stars Leighton Meester and James Caan.
While still in his teens, Donny (Adam Sandler) fathered a son, Todd (Andy Samberg), and raised him as a single parent up until Todd’s 18th birthday. Now, after not seeing each other for years, Todd’s world comes crashing down on the eve of his wedding when an uninvited Donny suddenly shows up. Trying desperately to reconnect with his son, Donny is now forced to deal with the repercussions of his bad parenting skills.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
