Anyone who doesn’t get excited at a new animated Pixar feature has no soul, surely? Those intrigued to see their latest effort, BRAVE, will want to check out this stunning Japanese poster. The film tells the story of Princess Merida, who brings chaos to her land after defying her royal kingdom. Her reckless choice forces her take action to put things right using her archery skills and the one wish she is granted from a mystical being.
BRAVE will be in cinemas 13th August and features a host of British talent supplying the voices in Kelly Macdonald, Billy Connelly, Kevin McKidd, Julie Walters, Robbie Coltrane and Emma Thompson.
Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
