The cast for Kathryn Bigelow’s currently untitled Bin Laden project just gets bigger and better. The Oscar-winning director of war drama THE HURT LOCKER, will helm this new action-thriller that will focus on the early hunt for infamous terrorist. Already cast in the film are WARRIOR’s Joel Edgerton, MEMENTO’s Guy Pearce, and the Oscar-nominated ‘actress-in-everything’ Jessica Chastain. That’s also not forgetting Mark Strong, Jason Clarke, Kyle Chandler, Idris Elba, Chris Pratt and Edgar Ramirez.
Just to add two more to that breathless bunch of talented individuals; the first being Jennifer Ehle, whose most recent output has included THE KING’S SPEECH, THE IDES OF MARCH and CONTAGION. Secondly is Nash Edgerton, who will be joining his brother Joel on the film. Nash Edgerton is known more for his stunt work in the likes of THE MATRIX trilogy and the STAR WARS prequels. He collaborated with brother Joel on his full-length directorial debut, THE SQUARE, a brilliant and clever head-twisting thriller made in 2008 that is unfortunately yet-to-be released in the UK.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
