HORRIBLE BOSSES director Seth Gordon will reunite with Jason Bateman for his latest comic effort, IDENTITY THEFT. Joining him will be BRIDESMAIDS scene-stealer and rising star Melissa McCarthy. Bateman was originally due to appear opposite another male actor in the comedy(which, as the title suggests, will see his character’s identity stolen). After seeing McCarthy’s work on the hugely-successful BRIDESMAIDS, Bateman personally asked for the script the be tweaked in order to snap up the actress.
McCarthy’s fast becoming a talent to watch out for, not only does she headline the current hit comedy series MIKE AND MOLLY but will also feature in Judd Apatow’s KNOCKED UP spin off, THIS IS 40. A BRIDESMAIDS sequel is also in the works. The always- likeable Bateman will this year be seen in THE LONGEST WEEK, DISCONNECT as well as a new series and big-screen version of the brilliantly hilarious ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
