Director Rian Johnson reunites with his BRICK leading man, Joseph Gordon Levitt, for mind-bending time travel thriller LOOPER. That much we know. But just how characters will be sent into the future, as well as get back to the present? Here we have our first clue in answering that question, keeping fans’ appetite wet for the film’s release.
Levitt stars as a futuristic mob assassin who kills his targets and sends them back in time to cover his tracks. He soon discovers his latest victim is his future self, played by Bruce Willis. The film will also co-star Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Jeff Daniels, Garret Dillahunt and Piper Perabo and is scheduled for release in the UK 28th September 2012.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
