Following a reasonable amount of toing and froing over the project, it seems that DIE HARD 5 may finally have a set director. Though the HALO: REACH short director Noam Murro had previously been attached, according to Twitch, MAX PAYNE helmer John Moore has been offered the film. That the production is going ahead at all may be a bone of contention for DIE HARD fans, as the previous installment was met with a mixed reaction.
Plot details have apparently been discussed too, and if the rumours are correct, DIE HARD 5 could see everyone’s favourite cop John McClane (Bruce Willis) take the action to Russia along with his son Jack (who featured briefly in the original DIE HARD, and is undoubtedly a budding hard-ass by now). A-TEAM writer Skip Woods is reportedly writing the script, and let’s hope that he will have the gumption to pen those iconic words that were sorely missed from DIE HARD 4…
