Duplass brothers set to reunite with Jonah Hill for Pitchfork?

Writer-director combo Mark and Jay Duplass are attempting to get their latest project of the ground, entitled PITCHFORK. According to the LA Times, the film is a revenge thriller, and a departure from the light tone of last year’s excellent CYRUS. The brothers, who also had an indie hit with BAGHEAD, have already wrapped on JEFF WHO LIVES AT HOME, starring Ed Helms (THE HANGOVER) and Jason Segel (I LOVE YOU, MAN). They are now trying get PITCHFORK started, and are reportedly considering Jonah Hill (SUPERBAD) as a possible star.

The film revolves around the death of a music star who dies following some unpleasant comments made on a blog. Cue the vengeful mother of said rocker, who seeks vengeance on the offending blogger, only to discover he’s just a teenager. The LA Times hinted that Susan Sarandon may be in line for the role of the mother.
