I have meaning to post this for a few days, but we are having massive technical problems with the site behind the scenes here at The Hollywood News, but here we are finally. To coincide with the DVD and Blu-Ray release of 127 HOURS, which came out last Monday, a journalist from weekly men’s magazine Zoo in the UK has parked his backside in the window of HMV in one of the UK’s busiest shopping high streets. Luke Jones is about halfway through said 127 hours in the store in London’s Oxford Street. He’s even carrying out a series of challenging tasks set by the public to raise money for charity, which is just awesome!
He is confined to a space just 2m by 1.8m, where he will have to survive for 127 Hours, just like Aron Ralston (played by James Franco) did in the movie, and obviously in real life as the film is based on a sensational true story.
Luke will leave the window at 5.00pm on Friday 10th June.
Zoo are welcoming challenges, like challenging Luke to do 127 press ups, seeing if he can get 127 phone numbers from women on the street or even 127 peas with a tooth pick!
Follow the action, and get more info here!
