New JJ Abrams Pilot In The Works

JJ Abrams

When it comes to lengthy, enigmatic, and annoyingly addictive science-fiction, no one does it quite like  JJ Abrams. And according to SFX, he is set to continue that trend with ALCATRAZ, his latest collaboration with Fox.

The show will revolve around a modern-day investigation into the reappearance of a number of inmates who mysteriously disappeared from the famous prison in the 60s. The show will undoubtedly follow the similar twist-and-turn format that proved so popular with Abrams’ LOST and FRINGE.

The pilot will apparently feature the talents of Jorge Garcia, Sam Neil, Sarah Jones, and Robert Forster.

Tom Fordy is a writer and journalist. Originally from Bristol, he now lives in London. He is a former editor of The Hollywood News and Loaded magazine. He also contributes regularly to The Telegraph, Esquire Weekly and numerous others. Follow him @thetomfordy.
