When it comes to lengthy, enigmatic, and annoyingly addictive science-fiction, no one does it quite like JJ Abrams. And according to SFX, he is set to continue that trend with ALCATRAZ, his latest collaboration with Fox.
The show will revolve around a modern-day investigation into the reappearance of a number of inmates who mysteriously disappeared from the famous prison in the 60s. The show will undoubtedly follow the similar twist-and-turn format that proved so popular with Abrams’ LOST and FRINGE.
The pilot will apparently feature the talents of Jorge Garcia, Sam Neil, Sarah Jones, and Robert Forster.
