Michael Cera has just signed up for his first film since SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD. The actor will headline MAGIC, MAGIC and according to Variety it will revolves around a girl vacationing with her friends in a remote area of Chile who slowly starts losing her mental faculties. She tries to get her friends’ attention, but they ignore her until it’s too late.
Obviously Cera will not playing the girl. Instead he will play a lead in what could be a part-Spanish language film brought to the screen by Sebastian Silva, director of Golden Globe award nominated foreign language film THE MAID.
Mike White and Christine Vachom produce. The lead female is yet to be cast, but they are looking.
