THE SON OF NO ONE stars Channing Tatum (THE DILEMMA), Al Pacino, Ray Liotta (GOODFELLAS), Katie Holmes and Tracey Morgan (COP OUT). The films has a ‘run of the mill’ cop drama feel to it with a performance from Pacino that’s been seen a thousand times. I think the film has a couple of interesting points that could make it a film to watch out for being; Tracey Morgan playing straight is something that could be either very interesting or incredibly terrible. Also it will be intriguing to see if Tatum will be a credible lead outside of ‘chick flicks’ or action films. Below is the official synopsis and trailer. THE SON OF NO ONE has no UK release date as of yet.
A young cop is assigned to a precinct in the working class neighborhood where he grew up, and an old secret threatens to destroy his life and his family.
Paul finished is BA in Film & Broadcast Productions during the summer and has somehow landed the position of Media & Marketing Manager in the London Korean Film Festival happening this November (plug). While at University Paul found his speciality lay in Script Development, scriptwriting and Editing. He has written, edited and director a small number of not very good short films but does not let that dissuade him from powering through. After the Koreans are through with him he looks to enter the paid world of Script Development. He likes incredibly bad horror films, East Asian movies, comics and lots of other stuff.
