Last October saw the release of the new footage of Wes Craven’s long awaited return to making good movies in SCREAM 4. Now we can see a longer and, well, better trailer.
Ten years have passed, and Sidney Prescott, who has put herself back together thanks in part to her writing, is visited by the Ghostface Killer.
The film sees the return of Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox while welcoming a new genereation possibly to take over the franchise. So the new blood includes, Emma Roberts (4.3.2.1), Hayden Panettiere (HEROES), Rory Culkin (SIGNS), Adam Brody (O.C) and a host of others just waiting to get stabbed.
I’m actually a big fan of the first two SCREAM films as they did a great job of deconstructing the American horror genre as well as scaring the pants off of me. The third however isn’t bad but its pushing it a bit. Of course I’m also a sucker for anything that uses Nick Cave in their soundtrack so I’m definitely looking forward to this.
SCREAM 4 comes out April 15th 2011 and check out the trailer below.
Paul finished is BA in Film & Broadcast Productions during the summer and has somehow landed the position of Media & Marketing Manager in the London Korean Film Festival happening this November (plug). While at University Paul found his speciality lay in Script Development, scriptwriting and Editing. He has written, edited and director a small number of not very good short films but does not let that dissuade him from powering through. After the Koreans are through with him he looks to enter the paid world of Script Development. He likes incredibly bad horror films, East Asian movies, comics and lots of other stuff.
