Supernatural film, THE APPARITION hasn’t had much publicity so far, with Dark Castle keeping talking to a minimum. However, Tom Felton has recently come out and spoken to the press regarding what exactly the film is all about.
Starring Ashley Greene, Sebastian Stan and Julianna Guill, and directed by Todd Lincoln, the plot focuses on a young couple who begin to be haunted by a scary ghost-like form, apparently brought into existence by a parapsychology experiment that was carried out at a University. Who will help them escape the terrifying apparition? A supernatural expert might do some good, but then, we’re not holding out much hope, are you?
Felton recently gave a bit more information into his part in the film to the L.A. Times:
“It’s a sci-fi thriller with a dash of horror, and we shot it in Berlin. It’s based around the paranormal. Ashley Greene from the ‘Twilight’ films is the lead, and Sebastian Stan is in it. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them. My character is the instigator of all the madness, all the experiments, and he’s in search of proof, and, of course, that leads to the downfall of the group. It’s kind of in the tradition of ‘Flatliners,’ but there’s more of a horror element there, and it’s very technological.”
