According to Variety, Eli Roth and Eric Newman, the producers on the recent THE LAST EXORCISM are becoming the ultimate horror duo again to work on the PSYCHO KILLER at StudioCanal.
The plot revolves around a typical unknown, masked murderer, who decides it’s high time to go on a killing spree whilst he fits in a bit of travel around the US. Well he’s got to find something to do, right? But, things go wrong for the villain when he kills a man of the law in Nebraska and his young wife, thirsty for revenge, heads out to track him down and make him pay.
Gavin Polone, producer on ZOMBIELAND, is taking his first steps into directing with the film, using a script by Andrew Kevin Walker, the screenplay writer for SLEEPY HOLLOW.
Shooting begins in the spring of next year, but the female lead actress is yet to be decided… Any ideas on the potential candidate?
