Robert Pattinson is NOT playing Kurt Cobain

There have been quite a few articles bouncing around the web over the past few days claiming that Robert Pattinson is set to play Kurt Cobain in a biopic called All Apologies about the legendary Nirvana star’s life. Not true according to Cobain’s widow, Courtney Love‘s manager.

“That’s an amazing story, and the first I’ve heard of any of this,” Love’s manager Jonathan Daniel told Spin. “They manage to fit pretty much everyone in Hollywood into an article without one fact check and include a ‘My First Photoshop’ job as ‘mock up’ to boot!” Daniel added referring to a recent newspaper article.

Scarlett Johansson was said to be playing Love in the new film, while R-Patz would play Cobain.

“Courtney likes Scarlett Johansen as an actress and as a person, so it wouldn’t surprise me if she wanted her to play her,” Daniel said. “I’m not sure she knows who R-Patz is, but he sure is cute.”
