Emma Thompson’s family sequel to Nanny McPhee has dethroned Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland to become the number one movie in the UK. The movie, Nanny McPhee And The Big Bang, opened to over £2.5 million, compared to to Alice’s £2.49 millon.
The Sandra Bullock Oscar winner The Blind Side made a respectable £1.3m over the weekend, securing it the number three position.
