The Equalizer 2 Trailer Launched And Denzel Washington Is Again In Action

The first trailer of “The Equalizer 2” is launched and you can see Denzel Washington saying that they killed his friend. So, he is going to kill each and every one of them. And the single disappointment is that hegets this chance only once. He is also seen as saying, “I punish the guilty…if you’re lucky…they give you the opportunity to do the right thing…this ain’t one of those times.”

It is one of the best movies that you can expect in 2018, and while you may love playing casino games or reading up titbits like who are the biggest casino winners, we are sure you wouldn’t want to miss out on this one!

What Can You Expect from the Equalizer 2?

Denzel Washington is back again in “The Equalizer 2” in the form of a retired CIA black operations operative McCall. The first part of this movie, “The Equalizer”, was released in 2014andit earned $192 million globally. The basis of this film franchise is the 1980’s television series with the same name and featuring Edward Woodward as the main lead. The trailer is released by Sony Pictures.

You will be amazed to know that in his legendary career in films, Denzel Washington has never worked in a sequel. This will be the first sequel of his fabulous career. In the movie, Washington could be seen as serving a single-minded justice for the oppressed and exploited.

Other stars in the film are Ashton Sanders, Pedro Pascal, Melissa Leo, and Bill Pullman. The direction is again done by Antoine Fuqua and the screenplay is written by Richard Wenk. Fuqua and Washington have worked earlier also in the first installment of this movie-The Equalizer, Training Day, and The Magnificent Seven.  

Besides the film projects, Denzel Washington works hard on the stage also and his character’s performance in The Iceman Cometh even received a Tony nomination. He performed in that show for the special engagement of 14-weeks. The name of his character was Hickey, a salesman who instantly sees life otherwise. Initially, the play was published in 1946 and written by Eugene O’ Neill.

A Look at Washington’s Broadway Record

Washington holds an extraordinary Broadway record, the most recent is starring in the 2014 movie A Raisin in the Sun, 1988’s Checkmate, 2005’s Julius Caesar, and 2010’s Fences. In 2010, he was awarded Tony Award for his excellent acting skills. Recently, in the 69th Annual Spring Luncheon of New Dramatist, he received the Distinguished Achievement Award. The previous recipients include Meryl Streep, Audra McDonald, Edward Albee, and Bernadette Peters.

New Dramatists’ Artistic Director states that the career status earned byMr. Washington is through excellence and hard work. He is one of those professional actors who love pursuing career and artistic challenges. For example, undertaking August Wilson’s plays, being the New Dramatists’ and Eugene O’ Neill’s alumnus. It is the fearless risk-taking ability of him which connects him with the work of playwrights functioning at New Dramatists as well as the collaborators.
