It doesn’t look like we’ve got too much more time to wait to see some footage from the upcoming Shane Black-directed The Predator. The filmmaker himself took to Twitter over the weekend to update fans when a trailer for the September-released movie would hit theatres and online. At the same time, Black addressed rumours about the film having to undergo reshoots due to demands by the studio. Not true.
Nope! Just busy. Expect a teaser mid-april… how’s this — my brother and I used to actually close our eyes when the theater ran trailers. Wouldn’t it be cool to go in knowing nothing? 🙂

The Predator stars Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Jacob Tremblay, Yvonne Strahovski, Alfie Allen, and Thomas Jane. It will reportedly take place somewhere in the middle of the timeline of Predator 2 (1990) and Predators (2010) and focusses on military veterans encountering a Predator ship in a suburban neighborhood.
The Predator is set for release on September 14th. More as we get it.
