New Motion Poster, First Clip Arrives For Wes Anderson’s Incoming ‘Isle Of Dogs’

A new motion poster for Wes Anderson’s upcoming stop-motion animation Isle Of Dogs has arrived online ahead of its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival next week.

The film is an odyssey of a young boy in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots, on a vast garbage-dump called ‘Trash Island’ and features an all star cast of voices such as Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Bill Murray and Jeff Goldblum.

Here’s the full synopsis as provided by the studio.

Isle Of Dogs tells the story of ATARI KOBAYASHI, 12-year-old ward to corrupt Mayor Kobayashi. When, by Executive Decree, all the canine pets of Megasaki City are exiled to a vast garbage-dump called Trash Island, Atari sets off alone in a miniature Junior-Turbo Prop and flies across the river in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots. There, with the assistance of a pack of newly-found mongrel friends, he begins an epic journey that will decide the fate and future of the entire Prefecture.

As well as the aforementioned, the film also features the voice talents of Koyu Rankin,  Bob Balaban, Kunicki Nomura, Akira Takayama, Greta Gerwig, Frances McDormand, Akira Ito, Scarlett Johansson, Harvey Keitel, F. Murray Abraham, Yoko Ono, Tilda Swinton, Ken Watanabe, Mari Katsuki, Fisher Stevens, Nijiro Murakami, Liev Schreiber, and Courtney B. Vance.

Isle Of Dogs is released in UK cinemas on 30th March 2018, with U.S. audiences getting the film a week earlier on the 23rd.
