Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren, the two action stars who first teamed up on Universal Soldier back in the 1990s, are to reunite on screen in a forthcoming action flick named Black Water.
In the film a deep cover operative (Van Damme) awakens to find himself imprisoned in a CIA black site on a submarine. The film will see them stars as onscreen allies for the first time, so reports The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision.
Van Damme is a busy boy as he also has his original Amazon series Jean-Claude Van Johnson, which was picked up for series late last year.
Shooting will start on Black Water, which is set up at Dawn’s Light Media, later this year. Chad LAw wrote the screenplay.
