The sixth movie in the Mission: Impossible franchise looks like it is officially a go after Tom Cruise has agreed a deal and signed on the dotted line.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that a ‘pay dispute’ had halted plans to start production, but this has now been rectified following advanced negotiations. The next film in the franchise, which follows last year’s Rogue Nation, will once again be directed and written by Christopher McQuarrie.
We’re hearing that production was due to kick off in January, but now a spring 2017 start date is being mentioned.
We’ll keep you posted.
