Fifty Shades Of Grey and Anthropoid star Jamie Dornan is in talks the cast of Robin Hood Origins, the new version of the classic story which is based over at Lionsgate.
Jamie Foxx will play Little John in the planned film, while Eve Hewson will portray Maid Marian in the movie, which is being directed by Otto Bathurst. Taron Egerton (Kingsman) will play the title character.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Dornan will play a new version of Will Scarlett, ‘known as the member of the band of Merry Men who is the hot-headed wearer of fine clothes and the best swordsman of the bunch. In this version, however, he is Marian’s husband, who will be none too happy when he learns that she loves the outlaw…’
Shooting is set to start later in the year.
