While season six hasn’t debuted yet, nor will it before January of 2017, the hit Showtime drama Homeland, which airs on Channel 4 in the Uk, has been renewed for seasons 7 and 8.
Deadline broke the news that Fox 21 TV Studios is in final negotiations to lock down three more seasons of the show, which stars Claire Danes in the lead.
Danes, who also co-produces, and showrunner Alex Ganza are expected to return for all three new seasons, so reports the trade blog.
Shooting on the next series of the show is set to start in August for a January 2017 U.S. transmission, the action set to revert back to domestic soil following its Berlin setting for season five.
More as we get it.
