We’ve just found out (via The Hollywood Reporter) that Ernie Hudson as joined the likes of Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray and shot a cameo in the Ghostbusters reboot, which will finish up shooting in Boston today (Saturday 19th September).
There’s no news as to who Hudson will play, or if indeed he will reprise his famous role as Winston Zeddmore in the film, which is being directed by Paul Feig. Hudson famously played the role in the original 1984 movie, and Ghostbusters II in 1989.
The new, all-female Ghostbusters reboot will release in 2016, and will star Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon as the new team of Ghost-hunters.
Chris Hemsworth, Andy Garcia, Michael K. Williams, Neil Casey, Cecily Strong, and Matt Walsh also star in the film, which is bound to be one of the most anticipated of next year.
Ghostbusters will release on July 22, 2016.
