We were all kind of blown away by just how good 21 JUMP STREET and its sequel 22 JUMP STREET earlier this year, were. At the end of that movie, we were kind of teased with what could end up coming our way if a sequel was ever greenlit, albeit in parody form. Well, after 22 JUMP STREET made six times its budget back at the worldwide box-office, Sony have hired Rodney Rothman to come back on board to write 23 JUMP STREET with Phil Lord and Chris Miller overseeing.
There are rumours that our two heroes, Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, who will be back for a third adventure, may be off to medical school, as that is what Ice Cube’s Captain Dickson barked at them at the end of the movie.
“You two sons of bitches are going to medical school!”
Remember?
23 JUMP STREET will be produced by Lord, Miller, Hill, Tatum and Neal Mortiz, and we’re guessing we’re looking at a 2016/17 release.
