Series 8 of Doctor Who is getting ever-nearer with it restarting on August 23rd on BBC One and today, we’ve got the first official shots released directly from those folk at the Beeb!
Our 12th Doctor, Peter Capaldi, is setting off on a world tour next week with Jenna Coleman (Clara) to promote the series, they’ll be heading everywhere and you can find all the details on that right here. It’s been an interesting decision by Steven Moffat and the team to pick up Capaldi, a well-respected actor in his own right and the first ‘big name’ they’ve taken on for a long time. Saying that, he’s a big Who fan and have they failed us yet – in 50 years? Never. I think he’ll be another exciting addition and can’t wait for Deep Breath on the 23rd.
