Unless you’ve been living in a cave for the last few days you will of course know that San Diego Comic Con happened over the weekend. It wasn’t just films that hosted panels though, oh no, pretty much every prominent television show also got time in the lime light.
The CW’s Vampire Diarie’s spin-off The Originals chose the event as the venue to showcase the trailer for its second season. The show which stars Joseph Morgan as dastardly vampire/werewolf hybrid Klaus was a big success on both sides of the pond during it’s first season. See the second season trailer below:
Doesn’t it look good? The first half of the trailer is essentially a ‘previously on’, but the second half teases the direction of the next season. It seems like they’ll be jumping right back in where the first series left off, but as fans of the show and it’s parent show know, a LOT can happen in one episode so the trailer is likely to be mainly compiled of the first episode.
The Originals starts up in the US in early October, with UK channel Sy-Fy not too far behind.
