A new clip and poster for THE ROVER has been released! The film is David Michod’s highly anticipated follow-up to ANIMAL KINGDOM, starring Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson.
It’s set 10 years after the collapse of society, following hardened loner Eric (Pearce) as he travels to reclaim his most cherished possession from a gang. Along the way he meets Rey, (Pattinson) who helps Eric track down the gang.
This clip shows Eric (Pearce) explaining to Rey (Pattinson) that he has not only been abandoned by his brother, but also by God and gives us a little insight into Michod’s masterful hand in creating a darkly tense scene. Check out the poster and clip below:
THE ROVER will be released in the UK on the 22nd August 2014.
