The first promotional images and artwork from the small-screen transition of the same-titled 1996 genre-bending exploitation classic FROM DUSK TILL DAWN have been unveiled. Again, the series will follow the ruthless bank robbers the Gecko brothers – Seth and Richie played by D.J. Cotrona and Zane Holtz – in the expanded story based on Robert Rodriguez’s crime thriller-turned-twisted fright flick that starred George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino (and based on the latter’s outrageous screenplay).
Rodriguez is directing the opening two episodes of the series’ ten. It also stars Jesse Garcia, Don Johnson, Robert Patrick, Madison Davenport, Brandon Soo Hoo and Eiza González, who takes on the role of the seductive dancer Santánico Pandemonium (famously cameoed in the original film by Salma Hayek), who for those who know, likes to suck!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
