Chiwetel Ejiofor And ’12 Years A Slave’ Odds-On Favourites For BAFTAs

Chiwetel Ejiofor at 2/7 is likely to take home the ‘Leading Actor‘ award for his role as Solomon Northup, with Bruce Dern (for NEBRASKA) the second favourite for this award at 6/1 and Tom Hanks at 8/1.

As for the ‘Leading Actress‘ award, Cate Blanchett is favourite at 4/9 for her role in BLUE JASMINE ahead of second favourite Sandra Bullock at 2/1. The best ‘Supporting Actress‘ award looks set to be a two horse race between Lupita Nyong’o at 8/15 and Jennifer Lawrence at 6/4.

So tired of all the biased precursory articles pre assigning winners. This takes all the fun out of awards shows. Particularly when the same winners are proclaimed every time.

Although I do agree on a certain level, why read them if you hate them so much?

You don’t have to! There’s always the obvious leaders of course, my excitement comes from being wrong. All of these other contenders are brilliant.
