It looks like we’ll have a clean sweep of reprises in the next NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM movie, as it has been confirmed that Ricky Gervais will be returning to the franchise.
It had already been confirmed that Ben Stiller and Robin Williams would be reprising their roles, but it was left up in the air whether Gervais would reprise his role as Dr McPhee, but he will now be joining the rest of the cast (including ex DOWNTON ABBEY star Dan Stevens) for the Shawn Levy directed movie being geared up for a Christmas 2014 release.
NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, based on the children’s story by Milan Trenc, tells the story of a night watchman at the Museum Of Natural History who discovers that the artefacts come alive at night. The last movie NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BATTLE OF THE SMITHSONIAN also starred Amy Adams, Owen Wilson, Hank Azaria, Jon Bernthal and Steve Coogan.
