Reacquaint Yourself With Loki In Latest ‘Thor: The Dark World’ Featurette!

It’s Loki’s turn to shine in the latest featurette from Marvel’s action-packed sequel THOR: THE DARK WORLD, which is directed by Alan Taylor. Tom Hiddleston’s devious sibling to Chris Hemsworth’s hammer-swinging demigod has arguably been the star of the show in both Kenneth Branagh’s 2011 blockbuster and Joss Whedon epic AVENGERS ensemble. So, why not reacquaint yourself with his scenery-chewing, mischievous madman! Can he be trusted when called upon by his devoted brother this time around?

Marvel Studios’ “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns toplunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

THOR: THE DARK WORLD stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Christopher Eccleston, Stellen Skarsgaard, Jamie Alexander, Christopher Eccleston, Kat Dennings, Idris Elba, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Tadanobu Asano, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Rene Russo, Chris O’Dowd and Anthony Hopkins. It’s released in UK cinemas 30th October and the US 8th November.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
