New Clips From ‘Kick-Ass 2’ & ‘Europa Report’

We’ve a clip each from two films set to excite later this summer!

Firstly, we see the beginning of the trouble in store for the astronaut team of Sebastian Cordero’s sci-fi thriller EUROPA REPORT. DISTRICT 9 and ELYSIUM’s Sharlto Copley leads alongside Embeth Davidtz, Michael Nyqvist, Daniel Wu, Anamaria Marinca, Christian Camargo and Karolina Wydra in the film written by Philip Geltatt. It centres a group of astronauts, handpicked from around the world, who make the arduous journey to Jupiter’s frigid, glacial moon Europa in search of extraterrestrial life. The only thing more intimidating and unpredictable than the trip itself is what the team will encounter upon arrival!

EUROPA REPORT will see an earlier online release of the 27th July, while it arrives in US cinemas from 2nd August. Still no UK dates confirmed.

Now we see Aaron Taylor-Johnson and pal Clark Duke discuss the tweets of Christopher Mintz-Plasse’s rising kingpin Red Mist, who’s now reborn as The Motherfucker in action-comedy sequel KICK-ASS 2. The brilliant Chloe Grace Moretz returns as the foul-mouthed sidekick Hit Girl as their superhero duo’s insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by Jim Carrey’s former mob enforcer Colonel Stars and Stripes.

KICK-ASS 2 will hit cinema screens from 16th August with writer/director Jeff Wadlow taking over duties from Matthew Vaughn for the adaptation of Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.’s bonkers comic-book.
