It took seven years for production on a SIN CITY sequel to begin, but fans are going to have wait an extra 10 months to revisit Basin City as Dimension Films have pushed back the release date of SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR from 4th October 2013 to 22nd August 2014. Despite being a summer release date, no film currently occupies that spot. The film began production last October after many years of will they wont they. SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR will take on two of the graphic novels from Frank Miller’s classic series, as well as providing some original stories too.
I loved the first SIN CITY, but an extra 10 months isn’t going to hurt. There were many times I thought the project wouldn’t happen at all. The film will be released in a summer that contains Marvel’s gamble, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, and TRANSFORMERS 4.
SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR will star Mickey Rourke, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Brolin, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Dennis Haysbert, Jamie Chung, Chris Meloni, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Jeremy Piven, Julia Garner, Bruce Willis, and Eva Green. It will hit cinemas in 2D and 3D from the 22nd August 2014.

His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
