To celebrate Mother’s Day (this Sunday in the US), Pixar have released a little treat from MONSTERS UNIVERSITY.
We all walk that fine line between loving our mums and being very embarrassed by their maternal devotion (except Bruce Wayne. He hasn’t got a clue how that feels). Pixar have captured that beautifully in this little taster from their upcoming prequel to their classic MONSTERS INC.
Here in the UK, we had Mother’s Day back in March. But we do love our dear ol’ mums, and that’s a universal feeling the world over. So Happy Mother’s Day, wherever you are.
MONSTERS UNIVERSITY is released 21st June is the US and 12th July in the UK. It stars the vocal talents of Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Helen Mirren and Steve Buscemi.

John is a gentleman, a scholar, he’s an acrobat. He is one half of the comedy duo Good Ol’ JR, and considers himself a comedy writer/performer. This view has been questioned by others. He graduated with First Class Honours in Media Arts/Film & TV, a fact he will remain smug about long after everyone has stopped caring. He enjoys movies, theatre, live comedy and writing with the JR member and hetero life partner Ryan. Some of their sketches can be seen on YouTube and YOU can take their total hits to way over 17!
