I often struggle to remember what Paul Walker’s done outside the FAST & FURIOUS franchise. He briefly appeared in one of my 90s all-time favourites in the form of Gary Ross’ fantasy fable, PLEASANTVILLE and he did headline the underrated, brutally twisted modern fairytale, RUNNING SCARED. However, we’re going to be seeing a lot more of Walker following his confirmation to lead both HITMAN reboot, AGENT 47 and a remake of French actioner, DISTRICT 13 (which will be re-titled BRICK MANSIONS). Not forgetting the anticipated FAST & FURIOUS 6.
He also headlines fast-paced thriller, VEHICLE 19, as a foreign traveller who unknowingly picks up a rental car that will see him connected to a web of corrupt local police. Mukunda Michael Dewil wrote and directed the South African-set film and here we have the latest trailer and as well as a bunch of posters. It’s expected to hit later this year.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
