It may have been delayed almost a year, but Tommy Wirkola’s follow-up to his gory Nazi zombie comedy DEAD SNOW, will finally arrive on the 25th January (22nd February for UK audiences). HANSEL & GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS is the Norwegian directors Hollywood bow and will see the Brothers Grimm fairytale characters as grown-up, vengeful bounty hunters, on the look out for evil wenches.
The stunning Gemma Arterton and Jeremy Renner take on the titular siblings alongside the likes of Famke Janssen, Peter Stormare, Thomas Mann and Zoe Bell. Following the recent new trailer a couple of days ago, we have a much more graphic red-band trailer to remind us there will be plenty of blood flowing amongst the fun!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
