It’s all going THOR: THE DARK WORLD crazy here at THN this evening. You can’t even swing your enchanted hammer without smacking the latest set pictures in their Asgardian faces. The second installment of the THOR franchise, and follow-on from THE AVENGERS, will see the Norse God take on a race of dark elves, lead by the sinister Malekith (Christopher Eccleston); he’s the unmasked one with the face of two colours. Another villain, possibly Algrim The Strong, was also spotter earlier today.
I’m loving the look of the dark elves, and they seem as though they can exist in both the fantasy world and our world. The superheroic sequel is currently filming at the University Of Greenwich.
THOR: THE DARK WORLD is released 8th November 2013. It stars Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, Christopher Eccleston, Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Idris Elba, Zachary Levi, Stellan Skarsgard, Jaimie Alexander, Ray Stevenson, and Tadanobu Asano.
Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.

Christopher Eccleston is such a great looking guy. I love his costume in this movie, and I know he is going to be great in it.
