No regular visitors to the site will have failed to notice my enthusiasm for RZA’s THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS. A kung-fu homage that looks insanely enjoyable, with well shot action sequences, and a tongue firmly in its cheek. We’ve shown you previous trailers and posters, and now we have a character specific trailer. Please put your hands together for The Bronze Lion, portrayed by UFC fighter Cung Le. I was quite surprised to learn that he was a UFC fighter as his charisma and acting seem bang on, especially for a film of this ilk.
THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS is released in the UK 16th November 2012. It stars Russell Crowe, Lucy Lui, RZA, Jamie Chung, Pam Grier, Rick Yune, Dave Bautista, Cung Le and Byron Mann.
