THE DARK KNIGHT RISES has premièred a short clip on JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE. The clip shows Joseph Gordon-Levitt introducing himself to Gary Oldman’s Commissioner Gordon. Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays John Blake, a character that has had fans scratching their heads for months as he is original to this film and not know from the comics. It seems as though Blake is being used to connect the dots between certain characters and sub-plots. It also seems that he is very inquisitive about the night the Batman reportedly killed Harvey Dent.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is released 20th July 2012. It stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
