GAME OF THRONES season two premiers in under a month, and as far as HBO is concerned, people just aren’t talking about it enough. So to that end they’ve released a new trailer, featuring Daenerys, the guy who hangs out with her, Tyrion, and the rest of the gang. There’s much talk of ‘responsibility’ and ‘what’s rightfully mine’, so it’s probably fair to say the characters will have to make some difficult decisions, and may never be the same afterwards.
The first season of GAME OF THRONES was typical HBO slow burn, with the story easing its way forward while introducing scores of colourful characters. There was action and nasty murdering going on, for sure, but it was sandwiched between terrific drama about families and why being in the past would not be fun. The second season seems like it’s going to ramp up the thrills and, potentially, spills, what with (SPOILER) that little jerk Joffrey running around being the king, and honest to goodness dragons flying about, presumably causing mayhem.
