The long-awaited Superman reboot is almost underway, and Superman Homepage has just released these brand new images. It’s safe to assume that the location seen here will double as Clark Kent’s adopted hometown of Smallville, and eagle-eyed readers will spot a whacking great hole in one side of the building. Does this mean an attack on the rural town, or perhaps this is the aftermath of Clark’s teen difficulties with his superhuman powers. An unwieldy sneeze maybe? Or worse?
Hopes are high for MAN OF STEEL, paricularly in the wake of Chris Nolan’s (fortunately serving as producer here) super-successful Batman reboot. And with Marvel Studios dazzling audiences with their particular brand of spandex-clad shennanigans, DC/Warner Bros will be banking on director Zack Snyder pulling out all the stoPS.
MAN OF STEEL stars Henry Cavill, Russell Crowe, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, and Amy Adams. It is set for release December 2012.
