Following rather swiftly after the first character poster of THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE’s flamboyant madam, Effie Trinkett (played by the gorgeous Elizabeth Banks), we have the latest Capitol Couture portrait. This time we have a look at Stanley Tucci’s Ceaser Flickerman.
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is this time directed by Frances Lawrence, who takes over Gary Ross from the franchise kick-starter, which was a massive hit when released last March. Based on the series of young Adult novels by Suzanne Collins, the latest entry again centres of bow-carrying heroine, Katniss Everdeen, who is forced to complete, along with Peeta, in a ‘surviors’ special event as President Snow attempts a little payback on the beauty and her fabricated boyfriend.
Newly crowned Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones, Woody Harrelson and Banks all return, alongside newcomers Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Jeffrey Wright and Amanda Plummer. It hits cinemas worldwide from 22nd November.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.

I love that all of the posters for this movie look like they were crafted in the Capital, making me thrilled about what’s to come. I have been trying to cope with my excitement by watching the Hunger Games and other movies, using Blockbuster @Home from DISH. My busy work shift at DISH, makes me grateful that it’s so quick and easy to update my queue. I also love that if I forget to send back a movie, I can just do an in store exchange rather than wait. Watching the movies has helped pass time until this premieres, and so far, I know that it will surpass my expectations.
