At this rate X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is going to need a good three hours or a two-parter to fit everyone in. Director Bryan Singer has recently tweeted that the love triangle of Ellen Page, Anna Paquin, and Shawn Ashmore are joining the cast of the X-MEN: FIRST CLASS sequel. The film will see characters from X-MEN: FIRST CLASS encountering their future selves and receiving word of terrible events. The jumping between time will certainly result in a complex plot and one that will be difficult to translate into a cohesive script. However, with such a challenge ahead of them, this could be the best X-MEN movie yet. Anna Paquin and Shawn Ashmore play romantic couple Rogue and Iceman, kept apart by the fact that Rogue can’t touch anyone, but who knows whether or not this installment will follow X-MEN: THE LAST STAND, where Rogue received a cure for her mutation.
Very excited to welcome #annapaquin, @ellenpage & @shawnrashmore to #XMen #DaysofFuturePast – thank you @brettratner for letting them live!

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
