KILLING THEM SOFTLY is a film based on George V. Higgins’ original novel. It tells the story of two young men who rob an underground poker game and have to hide from Jackie Cogan (Brad Pitt), who serves as a professional enforcer who is investigating the heist. Ray Liotta, James Gandolfini and Richard Jenkins are only a few of the power actors joining Pitt. Although it premiered here in the UK in September, the film is still doing its promotional rounds. Isra has probably seen one too many movies and has serious issues with differentiating between reality and film - which is why her phone number starts with 555. She tries to be intellectual and claims to enjoy German and Swedish film, but in reality anything with a pretty boy in it will suffice.
