So far most of the hype surrounding Disney’s animated adventure WRECK-IT RALPH is because of all the fantastic computer game character cameos seen in trailers and posters. Now we have a new selection of character posters that really highlight their involvement. I think it may backfire in the long run if they bring so much attention to these iconic characters that will most likely just be cameos. On the other hand, the posters cleverly intertwine the film’s original characters on the posters, leading up to the poster featuring only original characters.
The film has a lot of potential, but will it be the kind of film where we simply wish we were at home playing these classic games? We’ll find out next year in the UK.
WRECK-IT RALPH stars John C. Reilly, Jane Lynch, Jack McBrayer, Alan Tudyk, and Sarah Silverman. It arrives in UK cinemas February 2013.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
