Andrew Dominik’s forthcoming crime-thriller KILLING THEM SOFTLY looks a whole lot of greatness, and if haven’t seen the latest trailer, you MUST check it out HERE. Brad Pitt features as mob enforcer Jackie Cogan, who’s investigating a robbery at the mafia-controlled high-stakes poker game. He re-unites with Dominik after the stunning and epic western THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD and we have the new simple poster design (the previous poster was just as simple and impressive) that makes a bold statement with a big facking gun!
KILLING THEM SOFTLY is based on the novel Cogan’s Trade by George V. Higgins and has one of the most impressive casts of any film…EVER, with James Galdolfini, Ray Liotta, Sam Shepard, Scoot McNairy, Ben Medelsohn and Vincent Curatola. The film is released in cinemas 21st September and you should be excited!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
