Following yesterday’s viral website unlocking of a number of images and a video clip, all involving the design of Spidey’s new web-shooters, THN brings you an all-new international poster for Marc Webb’s upcoming superhero reboot. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN is going to have stiff competition to be the box-office champion, amongst this summer’s crowded set of impressive blockbusters. However, with an ace cast as well as a slimy new villain, Marvel are sure to have yet another comic-book smash hit, on their hands.
Marvel’s AVENGERS ASSEMBLE has set the bar well and truly sky-high, making the wall-crawler’s hopeful success (as well as Christopher Nolan’s Bat-threequel THE DARK KNIGHT RISES), a hard-fought one. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, Denis Leary, Sally Field, Campbell Scott and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors (or to us Spidey fanatics, the villainous Lizard). The rebooted franchise opener, swings into cinemas 4th July!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
