According to Hollywood.com’s interview with actor Bruce Greenwood, the next Star Trek film is set to start shooting in January 2011, ready for its summer 2012 release.
Greenwood is quoted in saying:
“I just know that the plan is to film it in January. More than that, I don’t know. I hope [to come back]. I’m hustling for it… we’ll see…”
Star Trek 2, or whatever Paramount decide to call it, debuts in cinemas on June 29, 2012.
